Just the beginning

The Reason: I am going into to this dig completely blind of any academic knowledge of archaeology, when I   was looking for a military friendly online school that had middle eastern studies I had trouble finding one, I did however talk to an academic advisor who pointed me to the college I am attending now. After being pointed to their catalogue I read about many interesting classes in history that had to do with either Archaeology and the Middle East my areas of interest so that is where i ended up.... Unfortunately I learned a lesson just because they have it in a catalogue doesn't mean they offer it.. so entering my senior I have taken primarily European history classes. So I just spent my Friday night trying to teach myself so I look slightly less retarded.

The outcome: I have a headache and found myself resorting, in a couple of articles, to looking at the pictures. (I just told my 5 year old tonight while working on reading practice that looking at the pictures to figure out the words was cheating, I'm a hypocrite i know)

Here is a map of Israel to let you know how clueless i am i just spent the last hour trying to figure out where I will be and I STILL don't know AGGGHHH this is worse that i thought LOL.

Plane Tickets

Whoop Whoop.. I just booked my flight!
It was scary and painful (tickets are expensive) but hopefully it will be worth it! Just a note I am paying for my tickets with the money I made by going to school this year.

ADVENTURE

This is just a little place for me to post about my adventures... What adventures you may ask. I guess we will find out together I am exploring what career path I may want to take. First stop on my journey exploring archaeology by joining a dig in Israel. The dates are 11 july- 13 aug.
